I was just thinking how some older cars look as though they were designed to do as much damage as possible, and it amuses me.

this brings back memories. How GTA was meant to be played. none of that silly 3rd dimension.

I'd argue a non collapsible steering column motivates people to pay extra attention, thus improving the safety of pedestrians.

I went back and played the classic overhead games, it was slightly painful. The zooming in and out based on your speed was difficult, I didn't notice it when I was playing them when they first came out, but now they are so dated it was really not so fun to play because of the zoom

Oh, that takes me back. When that game was current, my dad was once driving the family somewhere when we spotted a group of Hare Krishna. My little brother, maybe eight at the time, immediately piped up 'daddy, daddy, quick, get a Gouranga, daddy!'

My '48 Packard has this kind of hood ornament and it looks pretty lethal. It looks like a swan but it is actually a cormorant.

This will most likely direct your mangled body under the vehicle to finish you off:

I'm pretty sure if the vehicle were traveling fast enough you'd just get cheese grated into the engine bay.

I would drive a '56 caddy everyday if I could. It is one of my favorite cars, and I'm not even a caddy guy.

Other than a turbine powered car, I can't imagine anything less pedestrian friendly than that.

I don't think a pedestrian could get you impaled on the steering column.

More so trees, walls, trucks, other cars...
